For more than half a century, the genius animator and animation supervisor Yoichi Kotabe has been at the forefront of the Japanese animation industry, creating such characters as "Panda! Go Panda!", "Heidi, Girl of the Alps" and "Marco from the Apennines to the Andes".

This book, a compilation of his achievements, has been welcomed by enthusiastic fans since its release, and after running out of stock, there have been increasing requests for a re-release.

The new edition has 20 more pages, all pages have been revised to eliminate black-and-white printing, and all pages are now printed in color, including the character image of Kiara, who became the talk of the town in NHK's morning drama series "Natsuzora," as well as the character of the new "Calpis - The Taste of First Love" for 2019.
This is a one of a kind book for animators, directors, and all anime fans.
